YELLOWSTONE Actress Kelly Reilly Says She Can't Promise the Show's End Will Be Happy, But Says It Will Be "Beautiful and Epic"
Fans have been able to watch the first half of the fifth and final season of Paramount’s hit drama, Yellowstone. We have no idea when the second half will be released, as it was pushed back first by the drama behind the scenes involving scheduling the show’s star, Kevin Costner, then nearly all of Hollywood took a break to support the SAG/AFTRA Strikes that are going on now. But to keep us on the hook, another of the show’s stars, Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth Dutton on the series, teased the emotions behind the final episodes, as she explained on the recently released Yellowstone Season 5 Part One Blu-ray Special Features:
"The main theme of protecting and sustaining this way of life in this land is the bottom of everything. So I don't know which way it's going to go but we're in Season 5, and who knows what's in store. Though it will probably be beautiful and epic, I'm not sure it will be happy."
Yellowstone is set to end with Season 5, as Kevin Costner departs the series, leaving the Dutton family with big shoes to fill. A follow-up series is in the works, with Matthew McConaughey set to star, alongside many of the current Yellowstone stars, who will likely reprise their roles.
