YELLOWSTONE Season 3 Gets an Intense New Promo Spot and a Premiere Date
The Paramount Network has shared an intense new promo spot for the upcoming third season of their incredibly well-made series Yellowstone. They also announced that the series will premiere on Sunday, June 21st and that the show will air every Sunday after that. The previous two seasons of the show aired on Wednesdays.
The new promo spot is titled “Protect It,” and it teases the crazy things that are in store for the Dutton family and their Montana ranch, which is ruled by Kevin Costner’s John Dutton. The story for the series centers around his family, “who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States. Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect, the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders, including an expanding town, an Indian reservation, and America’s first national park.”
Lost alum Josh Holloway has joined the new season as Roarke Morris, a hedge fund manager with ambitious plans in Montana concerning the Dutton family. The series also stars Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill, Jefferson White, Forrie Smith, Denim Richards, and Gil Birmingham.
The series was created by Taylor Sheridan (Wind River, Hell or High Water) and John Linson, and it’s one of my favorite shows on TV. This is a perfect example of great storytelling, and I can’t wait to see that story continue in Season 3 and Season 4! To watch a previously released clip, click here.
