You Can Decide Jason Todd's Fate Via a Poll

DC is going back to 1988 when they had a phone-in campaign for readers to vote on the fate of Jason Todd in Batman: A Death in the Family.

Back in the day, fans would call a number to cast their vote. It was open for 36 hours with each call costing 50 cents. Now, thanks to the Internet, you don’t have to call a number. Instead, simply go to the poll and click either a red button or a green button.

DC is running a “If You Could Rewrite the History of 1988's Batman: Death in the Family” Poll and you can vote on whether or not Jason Todd would Live or Die. It’s a little too late to decide that now! But I guess DC is just having some fun.

This is a really clever way to get their audience engaged with them. Since opening on November 16, there have been 30,183 votes cast with 68% of voters wanting Todd to live.

What do you think?
