You Can Now Buy a Robotic Quadruped Dog with a Flamethrower Attached To Its Back

This is the Thermonator, a robotic quadruped dog created by Throwflame and it is equipped with a proprietary Arc Flamethrower.

The videos show off the Thermonator in action, and show him blasting fire. It also comes with laser sighting, good battery life, Bluetooth compatibility, and obstacle avoidance.

The description reads: “Thermonator is the first-ever flamethrower-wielding robot dog. This quadruped is coupled with the ARC Flamethrower to deliver on-demand fire anywhere!”

Now before you think this is a bad idea, which is what I obviously first thought, the are a wide array of uses for it including Wildfire Control and Prevention, Agricultural Management, Ecological Conservation, Snow and Ice Removal, and Entertainment and SFX.

See! It’s all positive! There’s no way this thing will go rogue and run around setting people on fire!
