You Can Pick Up a Poster For THE GOONIES That's Actually Signed By Artist Drew Struzan
I’ve got some cool news to share with all of you fans of The Goonies! Bottleneck Gallery is releasing a new screenprint of the classic Goonies poster that was illustrated by legendary movie poster artist Drew Struzan and each of the prints will be signed by Struzan!
There will be two different versions of The Goonies posters made available to fans and one of them is a timed edition, so if you purchase one during the window that they are available, you will get one! That fact that you can own a poster actually signed by Struzan is freakin’ cool and I’ve got to get one!
The first edition is a 24×36 version of the original poster that was released in theaters back in 1985. This will be the timed edition poster available for purchase from Bottleneck Gallery from Thursday, October 8th at 12:00pm ET through 11:59 P.M. ET on Sunday, October 11th.
The unsigned version of the poster will cost you $100, but if you want it signed by Struzan, you’ll have to pay $125, which is a pretty good price!
Then there is the art print version of The Goonies poster which doesn’t feature the title or credits. This one will also go on sale at Bottleneck Gallery starting on Thursday, October 8th at 12:00pm. ET, but this is a limited edition of only 200, and will only be available while supplies last.
Richard Donner and Steven Spielberg’s The Goonies is one of my all-time favorite movies from my childhood. I watched that film all the time when I was growing up and now I enjoy watching it with my kids all the time. It’s crazy that it’s been 35 years since the movie was released!
