You Can Play CALL OF DUTY: MOBILE in October
If you need more Call of Duty in your life, you’ll probably be really excited to hear that Call of Duty: Mobile has a release date. Activision has teamed with Tencent to bring the multiplayer modes fans know and love as well as a “unique battle royale” mode to mobile devices. The game was built from the ground up and will include fan favorite maps, weapons, and characters. Additional content will follow after the release.
The multiplayer modes at launch will include Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, and Free-for-All. Meanwhile, the Battle Royale will allow up to 100 players to fight for survival. The press release says that the mode is unique and “specifically built and tailored for Call of Duty: Mobile,” but they don’t really explain how. There will be vehicles, solos, duos, 4-person teams, and you’ll collect weapons and gear from the series as you try to survive.
Call of Duty: Mobile will be available for free on October 1 for Android and iOS.
