You Need to Earn Achievements to Progress in New Game Boy Game GLORY HUNTERS
It’s time to bust out that old Game Boy for a new adventure with Glory Hunters. This is a new game from César Arminio and his studio 2think along with publisher Bitmap Soft perfect for achievement hunters. The game is an action-adventure RPG that sees you progressing through the game by completing achievements. The world is designed to be open and allow you to play through the game however you wish, but you won’t be able to progress without completing those sweet, sweet achievements. This sounds like an interesting game for sure and I love to see how the retro gaming community continues to breathe life into old consoles and handhelds.
Glory Hunters is an all-new action-adventure RPG for the original Game Boy with a unique and original twist: you progress through the game by obtaining achievements.
In Glory Hunters, glory points are the main currency to obtain achievements. Earn these glory points by performing glorious deeds that award them. Gather materials, aid the townsfolk in various quests, or dive into dungeons to defeat different kinds of mobs.
Players can choose freely where to go and discover different zones with unique minigames, enemies, and funny characters. Spend glory points to create your very own unique personal experience.
If Glory Hunters sounds like a game fit for you, you can head on over to Kickstarter to support its physical release and also over to itch.io where there’s a playable demo for the first chapter via emulator.
