YOUNG JUSTICE Showrunner Says He's Ready for Season 3 If It Happens

TV Young Justice by Joey Paur

We recently reported a rumor that the animated series Young Justice might get a third season at Netflix. The series showrunner Brandon Vietti would be super happy if he got to continue the show for the fans.

ComicBook.com recently caught up with him at the premiere of his film new LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League ‑ Cosmic Clash. They asked about whether or not he thought there was hope we'd see a third season, and he said:

"I don't know. That's the best answer I can give you. I'd be happy to do another one; Greg [Weisman] would be; Phil Bourassa, the character designer. We'd all in a heartbeat come back to do a third season if the Powers-That-Be feel they want to do that."

Vietti goes on to explain that they aren't finished telling stories and that they have come up with additional stories that are ready to go if a third season does get ordered.

"I love that world. We were not done telling stories; we had tons of ideas for more seasons ready to go, so yeah, I'd love to get into it."

On top of that, he said that Weisman has written a timeline for the series with stories that have already been broken in previous seasons. These stories were planned to take place in the third season so hopefully sometime in the near future it actually happens.
