YOUNG JUSTICE Showrunners Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti Thank Fans for Season 3

Yesterday Warner Bros. Animation announced that the classic animated series Young Justice would return for a third season! It was some pretty incredible news for fans who have been wishing and hoping to see this happen since the series was canceled by Cartoon Network. The fans never gave up and neither did writer and producers Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti.

Since the big announcement, Weisman and Vietti, who are set to be the showrunners for season three, released statements to CB thanking the fans for their support and expressing their excitement. Vietti said:

"I just want to pass along a very heartfelt THANK YOU to all the fans that supported Young Justice and never gave up hope. I am truly amazed and grateful that so many of our fans all over the world were able to come together and make their voices heard. Young Justice season 3 is happening because of them!"

Weisman added:

"I am incredibly psyched to be going back to Warner Bros. and Young Justice. I start at WB on Monday, 11/14.  And can't wait for Brandon and I to dig in and get our hands dirty."

It'll be fun to see where they pick up with the story and where they plan on taking these characters next. One thing that I'm confident of is that they will give us the best quality show possible. These guys are getting a rare chance at another shot for this series, and I seriously doubt they're going to mess it up.
