YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN Promo Teases Daredevil and Other Marvel Heroes and Villains
Marvel has released a new featurette from behind the scenes of the upcoming series, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
It gives us a look at some of the voices behind the characters in the series, and it pops into the studio when they’re delivering lines. Some of those characters include Daredevil, Doctor Strange, Doc Ock, and Sporpion.
It also gives a background on how the style of the show page homage to original Spider-Man artist Steve Ditko, while bringing a modern flare to it.
It’s also cool to hear the show’s creator, Jeff Trammell, get excited about what he was able to do with this show, and the new takes on classic characters he brought to life.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man follows Peter Parker on his way to becoming a hero, with a journey unlike we've ever seen and a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots.
The series follows Peter Parker and his journey to becoming Spider-Man in the MCU. The series is set in an alternate timeline, where the webslinger’s origin story features a mentorship by Norman Osborn (of Oscorp fame), the alter ego to bitter enemy Green Goblin, instead of Tony Stark.
The talented voice cast includes Hudson Thames, Colman Domingo, Eugene Byrd, Grace Song, Zeno Robinson, Hugh Dancy and Charlie Cox.
Check out the video below, and let us know if you’re looking forward to watching Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man streaming on Disney+ next week, on January 29th.
