YouTube Red's COBRA KAI is Outperforming Shows on Netflix and Hulu

It looks like YouTube Red has a big hit on their hands with their Cobra Kai series. Variety is reporting that The Karate Kid sequel series is outperforming shows on Netflix and Hulu including 13 Reasons Why, Lost in Space, Arrested Development, and The Handmaid's Tale. The report states:

It marks the first time Parrot’s global data has seen a YouTube Red show top the competition, and the highest performing show ever to emerge from the two-year-old streaming service, which hasn’t yet gotten the same buzz for its content that its subscriber VOD rivals have achieved.

I couldn't be happier for Cobra Kai. It's easily one of the best shows that have come out this year. It's incredibly entertaining and if you haven't watched it yet, please check it out! You will not be disappointed.

I just binged watched it again with my parents and my brothers and everyone was laughing and cheering all through the show.

The series has already been renewed for a second season and if the quality of the show stays great and the audience continues to grow, you can bet your ass that we'll see even more seasons, which I hope will be the case!

Here's the synopsis for the first season:

In the highly-anticipated return of two iconic characters, the arch-rivals from the legendary Karate Kid film series reunite over 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament. Now living in the affluent hills of Encino, Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) leads an enviable life with his beautiful family, while running a successful string of car dealerships throughout the valley. Meanwhile, his high school adversary, Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), whose life has taken a rocky turn, seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo. Their lives inevitably become intertwined and the rivalry is reignited, setting forth the next generation of “karate kids” in COBRA KAI, a YouTube Red Original Series. COBRA KAI is produced by Overbrook Entertainment in association with Sony Pictures Television.

If you've already watched Season 1, where would you like to see Season 2 go?
