YU-GI-OH! Fans Have the Perfect Way to Respond to Will Smith's Genie
Many fans found Will Smith’s Genie for the upcoming Aladdin film disappointing. Anime fans have found ways to make the most out of their disappointment though. One fandom in particular has done a color change and found that Genie works great as a famous trading card.
That’s right, Yu-Gi-Oh! fans have stepped up and turned Smith into La Jinn the Mystical Genie of Lamp. First was @House_of_Champs, who made it as though Smith had just been summoned in hologram form. Then, @QSKSw took it a step further and turned the image into a trading card.
The best part is that while most of the card is similar to La Jinn, there are subtle changes like the name and flavor text. What do you think of Smith’s Genie? Should he just become a trading card?
