YU-GI-OH! Neuron the Official TCG Companion App is Available Now

Not too long ago, Konami released an official companion app for Yu-Gi-Oh! in Japan called Yu-Gi-Oh! Neuron. Now, the app has been released worldwide and is available to download for free. Players can use the app to keep track of life points, as a timer, for rolling dice and flipping coins, to track counters, and even create deck lists to submit to officials at tournaments. There’s a whole database you can access for creating the deck list or you can use your camera to capture them. Oh, and it also has music you can play while you duel. Sadly, it’s not the music from the hit album Music to Duel By, but it will still add some fun to the atmosphere. I just wouldn’t recommend using it at official events. Keep that feature for use in your homes. The app includes all of the following features:

  • Duel support with timer, Life Point tracker, counters, dice rolls, coin tosses and epic background music

  • Quick and easy Deck registration with the use of image recognition technology for up to 20 cards at a time

  • Powerful Deck Editor to build and share with others

  • Comprehensive card database, including convenient search and tracking features

  • Latest Forbidden & Limited List information

  • Access to the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! news and product information from KONAMI

  • Obtain a Card Game ID – necessary to take part in official Organized Play

Yu-Gi-Oh! Neuron will also serve as a way for Konami to release news and make announcements. You can download the app for free now for Android and iOS. So far, the only problem I’ve had is that when you click on a card and want to see where to get it, it takes you out of the app. All the other features tend to stay in-app, so I’m curious as to why they made that list open a browser.
