Zach Braff Wants to Join Donald Faison in DC's LEGENDS OF TOMORROW as Blue Beetle Opposite Faison's Booster Gold

Zach Braff and Donald Faison starred in the nine-season hit comedy Scrubs together, and their chemistry and comedic timing was a huge factor in why the series was so popular. The pair remained close friends after the show ended, and have made appearances together, but Braff has made it clear what he believes their next project should be.

Faison just made his first appearance in the Season 7 finale of the CW series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow as the character Mike, aka Booster Gold. Since it was announced that he was joining the series, Braff has been vocal about wanting to join him as a buddy character. They chatted about it on their podcast before it was announced who Faison was playing, but it was heavily beeped. Now, they are able to really get specific, and Braff is vocal about wanting to take on the role of Ted Kord/Blue Beetle. The fans have been supportive of this idea, and Braff said:

"Listen, this keeps coming up and I want you to tell all your followers: I am down to play Ted Kord. Whoever owns the property. It's DC, right? Probably part of the Berlantiverse. He's one of the first people who ever hired me. But yeah, Donald said that everyone [is saying that I should be Ted Kord]... I don't follow comic books. I'm sorry. I know people love them. I don't know anything about it, but yes, I'm here to announce that whoever owns the property. I'm down to play Ted Kord."

So far, there is no official Season 8 renewal for Legends, although Faison has confirmed that if that renewal comes, he will be a series regular next year. Would you like to see Braff alongside Faison again in this capacity?
