Zachary Levi Tells Fans Not to Watch "Garbage" Hollywood Movies - "They Don't Care Enough to Actually Make It Great for You Guys"

Zachary Levi recently attended Chicago Fan Expo over the weekend, and during a panel, the actor talked about the current state of Hollywood and the crappy movies that they are pumping out. He doesn’t hold back on sharing his thoughts and urged the fan not to go spend their money on the “garbage movies’ that they release. He didn’t mention any films specifically, but he did say:

"I personally feel like the amount of content that comes out of Hollywood that is garbage —they don't care enough to actually make it great for you guys. They don't.

"How many times do you watch a trailer and go, 'Oh my god, this looks so cool!' Then you go to the movie and it's like, 'This is what I get?' They know that once you've already bought the ticket and you're in the seat, they've got your money, and the only way for us to change any of it is to not go to the garbage. We have to actively not choose the garbage. It'll help. It'll help a lot."

This is one thing that I can 100% agree with him on! I’ve been sayin’ that for years! If you want Hollywood to stop making garbage movies, stop handing over your hard-earned cash to watch them. Over the past year Disney, Marvel, and DC have all seen disappointing box office numbers, including Levi’s Shazam! Fury of the Gods, so people definitely aren’t going to see movies they aren’t interested in. It’s expensive to go to the movies right now, so I don’t blame people for being picky about the films they watch at the theaters.

With the way the economy is going right now, I think people are being more careful with how they spend their money, and movies are one of those things that people are cutting back on. While Barbie and Oppenheimer continue to kill it at the box office, other movies that have been released aren’t doing so hot.

What do you think about this? Have you cut back on going to the movies in recent years?
