Zack Snyder Hasn't Seen JUSTICE LEAGUE Yet and He Wishes He Could've Finished It
I'm actually really curious to know what director Zack Snyder thinks of the finished Justice League film, but apparently, he hasn't seen it yet.
Snyder recently revealed he hadn't seen it yet to a fan on Vero. After a fan pointed out Joss Whedon's "shallow character development" and "poor writing skills", Snyder responded with:
"I will be honest I have not seen the film since I stepped away. You know I love these characters I wish only I could only have finished it for you and the others who love MOS BvS."
As you know, Snyder ended up stepping away from the project a few months after a family tragedy involving the death of his daughter. Zack Snyder is said to have hand-picked Joss Whedon to take his place as the director and finish the film.
I think there's more to this story than we are being told, as Snyder does wish that he could have finished the film. That comment tells me that he would have gladly finished the film his way if the studio would have let him. But, even before Snyder walked away, Whedon was already reworking the script.
I would be curious to know how Snyder's vision of the film would have turned out, though. I know we'll never see that cut of the film, but I can't help but wonder what might have been had Whedon not been brought in by the studio.
