Zack Snyder Now Says His Cut of JUSTICE LEAGUE Will Be a 4-Hour Movie, Not a Four-Part Miniseries
It looks like Zack Snyder has changed his mind about how he wants audiences to watch his upcoming cut of Justice League. It was previously reported that it would be released on HBO Max as a four-part miniseries, but now Snyder is saying that Justice League will be presented as a four-hour film.
Snyder also said that a new poster would be released for the film soon along with a release date, which is said to possibly be sometime in March.
Snyder has been working hard to give fans his vision of Justice League, and Warner Bros. gave him around $70 million to do what he had to do to make it happen. There is a lot of post-production work that went into finishing it up, and the director said that he also shot two new scenes for the film, one of which will involve Jared Leto’s Joker.
In Justice League, “fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”
Justice League also stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
