Zack Snyder Reveals JUSTICE LEAGUE 2 Would Have Shown The Other Side of Flash's Cameo in BATMAN V SUPERMAN

During a recent SnyderCon Q&A session, director Zack Snyder shared an interesting detail about his unmade Justice League sequel and part of the storyline that it would have played with. He shared that it would have shown us the other side of The Flash‘s cameo appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. I included that scene from the film for you to watch below.

When specifically asked about that, Snyder responded with, “Absolutely,” and went on to talk about his plan, saying: “The idea was that in whatever Justice League that would have been — Justice League 2, I guess … there was a scene where … Flash was getting ready to go back in time, and the idea was that … Bruce said to him that there were two possible windows in which he could jump back through time.

Snyder continued, saying: “And Bruce said, ‘Well, which one would you have gone through if I didn’t say anything?’ And he [Flash] said, ‘We were going to go through this one,’ and he [Batman] said, ‘Don’t go through that one! Because you went through it and it didn’t work … So go through the other one.’ So you would have seen that. Then he would have gone to the correct moment.”

The Flash cameo featured the speedster reaching out through time in a dream sequence to warn Bruce Wayne that “Lois Lane was the key.” In the end, The Flash arrived too early to warn Batman, and that Bruce was right about Superman.

It sure would’ve been interesting to see Snyder get to make his Justice League sequel. It’s a shame about how all of that went down with the studio.
