Zack Snyder Says Ray Fisher's Cyborg is The Heart of His JUSTICE LEAGUE Movie
Like a lot of DC fans, I was super disappointed in the Justice League movie that Warner Bros. ended up releasing in theaters. Ray Fisher’s version of Cyborg in that film was completely forgettable. Well, it looks like director Zack Snyder is going to right that wrong in his upcoming cut of the film.
In a recent post on Twitter, Fisher shared the following:
“I don’t praise Chris Terrio and @ZackSnyder for simply putting me in Justice League. I praise them for EMPOWERING me (a black man with no film credits to his name) with a seat at the creative table and input on the framing of the Stones before there was even a script!”
The director of Justice League responded to one of Ray Fisher’s tweets, saying:
“You Ray, are the heart of my movie.”
So, it sounds like Snyder’s version of Cyborg will have had a stronger role in the story that he’s looking to tell. It’ll be interesting to see what that is going to look like, especially after the version we saw gutted his story.
