Zack Snyder to Screen His Cut of JUSTICE LEAGUE in a Theater and Do a Q&A with Kevin Smith

Kevin Smith has confirmed that he will be screening Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League in a theater for the first time. Smith revealed that it will be shown at Smodcastle Cinemas in New Jersey, and it will be a part of the screening and Q&A sessions called "Directly Responsible: Face-to-Face With Filmmakers At Smodcastle."

Smith said: "Zack Snyder is coming in the new year, and he was like, 'I've never shown Justice League in a theater once,' so I was like 'brother, bring it!'"

Snyder will do a Q&A at the event. This is just one of several initiatives that Smith is putting into place at his newly-purchased theater, as he works at making it a destination for fans. He says other filmmakers that will be involved with other screenings include Joe and Anthony Russo and Jason Reitman.

Smith also shared that he plans to screen a series on John Hughes films, which he calls, "The Movies That Made Me" series, and he will host these screening events.

I’m sure it’ll be fun for some of the hardcore DC fans out there to watch this movie on the big screen. Would you want to see this movie on the big screen?

In Zack Snyder's Justice League, determined to ensure Superman's (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.
