Zaku Amazing From GUNDAM BUILD FIGHTERS Joins The Fight in MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM EXTREME VS. MAXIBOOST ON
We recently learned that Bandai Namco is bringing Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Maxiboost On to the West. Now, they’ve announced that Zaku Amazing from Gundam Build Fighters will be joining the battle. Zaku Amazing is built by Tatusya Yuuki, aka the Crimson Comet in the anime and features a wide array of weapons including rocket launchers, a pair of handguns, shoulder shields, two Heat Nata blades, a long rifle, and a giant bazooka.
In addition to this reveal, Akihito Chiba and Jin Okubo released a new video that has additional details about the game. First, they point to the sheer number of mecha available. In Maxiboost On, fans will be able to choose from 183 mobile suits from 36 different series. Those are only the playable ones too.
There are over 300 mechs that can be used in battle once you include NPCs. Second, they talk briefly about the development of the console version and how the team that created the arcade version worked on the console one. Third, they addressed the game balance. The console version will be the same as the latest arcade version to avoid any discrepancies.
There’s still no word on when Maxiboost On will release in the Americas, but it will only be available on PS4.
