Zany JURASSIC PARK-Inspired Clip For Hulu's ANIMANIACS Series Reboot
We’ve got a promo clip to share with you for Hulu’s highly-anticipated Animaniacs reboot series! The show comes from producer Steven Spielberg and Warner Bros. Animation and this clip is inspired by one of the iconic scenes from the 1993 film Jurassic Park.
The clip features the fantastically fun and zany comedy that we all expect from the series. I loved the kind of ridiculous nonsense humor that we saw in the original series, and it’s great to see that in this clip. This actually got me excited to see more!
The original voice cast have come back to reprise their roles in the series. That cast includes Rob Paulsen as Yakko; Tress MacNeille as Dot; and Jess Harnell as Wakko. The reboot will see the “three inseparable, irascible siblings who have a great time wreaking havoc and mayhem in the lives of everyone they meet. They have been locked away in the Warner Bros. water tower for a very long time, but they have found a way to escape. And escape they do — every day! Causing chaos and comic confusion, Yakko, Wakko and Dot run loose in the city, turning the world into their personal playground.” Joining the trio will be fan-favorites Pinky and the Brain, who will also return to continue their quest for world domination.
Spielberg has returned to executive produce the series, alongside Sam Register, president of Warner Bros. Animation and Blue Ribbon Content. Amblin Television is producing the reboot in association with Warner Bros. Animation.
Season 1 will consist of 13-episodes and will premiere on November 29th, 2020. There’s also a second season in development consisting of 13 more episodes that will come to Hulu sometime in 2021.
