Zazie Beetz Joins Brad Pitt's Action Film BULLET TRAIN
Deadpool 2 and Joker star Zazie Beetz has joined the cast of Brad Pitt’s upcoming action movie Bullet Train. In case you forgot, Pitt also had a super brief role in Deadpool 2 as an invisible member recruited into X-Force. It was a blink of an eye cameo, but he was in it! So, Beetz and Pitt working together on BUllet Train is a reunion of sorts.
Beetz also joins the previously cast Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, and Andrew Koji. The film is being helmed by John Wick, Deadpool 2, and Hobbs & Shaw director David Leitch from a script written by Zak Olkewicz.
The film is based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle written by Kotaro Isaka. The story follows five assassins who “find themselves on a fast moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between. They discover their missions are not unrelated to each other. The question becomes who will make it off the train alive and what awaits them at the terminal station?”
There’s no information given regarding who Beetz will be playing in the film, but I like her as an actress, and I hope they give her something cool to do in the movie.
Beetz is currently shooting Jeymes Samuel’s The Harder They Fall. The next film she can bee seen in is a wonderful movie, titled Nine Days, that premiered at Sundance.
