Zazie Beetz Unleashes Awesome Bloody Chaos in Red-Band Trailer For THEY WILL KILL YOU
Warner Bros has unleashed an incredibly fun red-band trailer for They Will Kill You, and it’s an aggressive, bloody introduction to one seriously unhinged night of survival.
The action-horror-comedy comes from Kirill Sokolov, the filmmaker behind Why Don’t You Just Die! and No Looking Back, and it looks like he’s leaning all the way into chaos.
The story centers on a woman who takes a seemingly simple job as a housekeeper in a New York City high-rise. What she doesn’t know is that the building has a deeply messed-up past, and the residents aren’t just eccentric neighbors.
As the night unravels, she discovers the entire place is part of something far darker, and she’s lined up as the next sacrifice.
Warner Bros describes the film like this: “Cult curious? From New Line Cinema and Nocturna comes They Will Kill You. The film unleashes a blood-soaked, high-octane horror-action-comedy in which a young woman must survive the night at the Virgil, a demonic cult's mysterious and twisted death-trap of a lair, before becoming their next offering in a uniquely brazen, big screen battle of epic kills and wickedly dark humor.”
The trailer wastes no time showing how extreme this situation gets. Once the cult reveals itself, survival becomes the only goal, and that means fighting back hard.
Zazie Beetz leads the film, and she looks awesome here, flipping the script from hunted to full-on threat as the night spirals out of control. The cast also includes Myha'La, Paterson Joseph, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Patricia Arquette.
Sokolov directs from a screenplay he co-wrote with Alex Litvak, bringing a sharp energy and unapologetic violence. If the trailer is any indication, They Will Kill You isn’t interested in playing it safe. It looks vicious, and gleefully twisted, with Beetz at the center fighting her way through a cult that picked the wrong woman.
The film is set to hit theaters on March 27th, 2026, and it’s sure to be a blast!
