ZELDA Anime Series Being Kickstarted; Watch the First Episode
The Legend of Zelda has always been one of my favorite series of all time, so when I saw that Aeipathy Industries started a Kickstarter campaign for a Zelda anime series based on the Link to the Past manga written and illustrated by Akira Himekawa, I was pretty excited. The first episode is already done and up to watch on YouTube. It's awesome, and there isn’t a single “Excuuuuuuse me, Princess!"
They have some great voice actors involved the show as well, including Vic Mignogna (Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist) and Todd Haberkorn (Ling from Full Metal Alchemist). There is also Kent Williams, who has been in a bajillion animes, and Rina Chan, who was in the Metal Gear Awesome video.
The Kickstarter has some ambitious goals and there are some really great rewards for the backers. Without a doubt, this will be a great Kickstarter to be a part of and a great series if they get the money they need to develop it. Here's what they hope to accomplish:
We are raising funds to produce Zeldamotion: A Link to the Past - Episode 2 in a few months! Our biggest complaint is how long the episodes take, so lets eliminate that problem! Our end goal is to create 12 - 8 minute episodes which would complete the story, and make the equivalent of a 1.5 hour long film!
You can watch the first episode below, along with the Kickstarter video.
