Zoe Kravitz Explores Her Top 5 All-Time Heartbreaks in First Trailer For Hulu's HIGH FIDELITY

This series adaptation of Nick Hornby’s 1995 novel and beloved 2000 film, High Fidelity, started out as a series being developed for Disney+ but switched over to the Disney-owned Hulu so that it could have a little bit more maturity than Disney+ would allow.

Zoe Kravitz is starring in series as Rob, a female record store owner in the rapidly gentrified neighborhood of Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Hulu has released the first trailer for the series, which is a departure from the original book and film, but the spirit of it is still there.

The series will follow Rob as she takes a deep dive into her “desert island, all-time, Top 5, most memorable heartbreaks. And in case you were wondering, yes, Rob does break the fourth wall and talk to the audiences throughout the series. As she revisits her past relationships, she does it through music and pop culture, and is also trying to get over her one true love.

I actually like what I’m seeing from the series in this trailer and it looks like it could be an entertaining and enjoyable show to watch. I’m a big fan of the original film, but I’ll totally give this show a shot.

High Fidelity also stars Da’Vine Joy Randolph, David H. Holmes, Jake Lacy, and Kingsley Ben-Adir. All 10 episodes of Hulu’s High Fidelity premiere on Friday, February 14th, 2020.
