Zoey Deutch Joins Clint Eastwood's JUROR #2

Zoey Deutch (The Outfit, Not Okay) has joined director Clint Eastwood’s next film project Juror #2. She will join the previously cast Nicholas Hoult and Toni Collette.

The story for his new film follows a juror on a murder trial who slowly realizes he killed the victim in a reckless-driving accident. As he grapples with the dilemma of whether to manipulate the jury to save himself, or reveal the truth and turn himself in, he tries to save the defendant without incriminating himself.

Hoult, who recently appeared in Renfield, will be taking on the lead role of the juror, while Collette will play the district attorney. There’s no word on who Deutch will be playing, but maybe it will be one of the other members of the jury.

Jonathan Abrams wrote the script and it’s Eastwood’s 40th movie. The project is being billed as his final film, but that isn’t officially set in stone. Adam Goodman, Matt Skiena, Tim Moore and Jessica Meier will produce.
