ZOMBIELAND Director to Take on OVERNIGHT for Disney
Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer is in talks with Disney to helm an adventure film called Overnight. The film is described as Home Alone in a toy store, and the story centers on "a father and son [who] win an inaugural sleepover in an amazing toy store–the same night thieves decide to rob it."
The last movie that Fleischer directed was Gangster Squad, which didn't do very well with critics. I was one of the few people that actually kind of enjoyed it. I think Fleisher is a talented director who has a knack for making fun movies. He also directed 30 Minutes or Less. Overnight sounds like it will be a great project for him to take on.
