Zordon and Zedd Have a Philosophical Discussion in the Preview for POWER RANGERS #16

BOOM! Studios recently released the preview for Power Rangers #16 which appears to serve as an epilogue to the Eltarian War. We have a conversation between Zordon and Zedd that really resonates with me. Zedd talks about how he’s never understood or believed in some almighty Power that protects others and interferes in the lives of beings. Zordon tries to explain that he believes in the Power, but differently than how Zedd describes. This part really hit home for me. I do also find it interesting how much we’re seeing one of Zedd’s eyes. Zedd then hands Zordon off to Zedd and then we go to Earth where Sentry Force Four finally surrenders and something weird (probably a portal of some kind) is appearing. How is this going to go wrong?

The Omega Rangers travel back to Safehaven to keep an eye on the rest of the galaxy, while Eternity Point falls under the supervision of a new assistant. As the Blue Emissary departs and the remains of three Emissaries are laid to rest, the universe seems relatively safe for now, but how long can that peace last before it’s shattered?

Power Rangers #16 is written by Ryan Parrott with art by Francesco Mortarino with ink assistance by Christian Prunseti, colors by Raúl Angulo, and letters by Ed Dukeshire. You can grab your copy from your local comic shop or other favorite retailers on February 16. The main cover is by Gerald Parel with variants from Daniele Di Nicuolo and Walter Baiamonte, Goñi Montes, and Jo Mi-Gyeong. The three variant covers are absolutely incredible!
