Zordon Apologizes to Grace in Preview for MIGHTY MORPHIN #18
With most of the Power Rangers not on Earth, tensions continue to rise. Zordon doesn’t have the best relationship with their only current allies, Promethea and Matt is sure to let him know that in the preview for Mighty Morphin #18. My favorite part is when Zordon talks to Grace about how the recent invasion has humbled him and he offers her an apology for their interactions when she was a Ranger. She seems to accept it, but states that she’s been waiting for it for a long time, but it doesn’t quite fix everything immediately. I’m very excited to see where this goes. Later, we have Matt talking to Rocky and Rocky’s got his hands full. It’s weird, but in the final panel, Matt has a smile and it looks quasi-sinister. I hope that I’m just reading too much into it, but it would suck if Matt started going evil.
With the combined efforts of Promethea and the Zords protecting the Power Chamber, Rocky, the Red Ranger, and Matt, the Green Ranger, wait in tense anticipation for the return of the Away Team. Emotions run high as Zordon acknowledges a hidden history involving him and Promethea, and how much the War has affected him, while Rocky is torn on different responsibilities that might be irreconcilable without help…
