2 Hockey Teams Will Face Off Wearing BATMAN and RIDDLER Uniforms
In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Dark Knight, the Toledo East Coast Hockey League team is holding a “Heroes Night” on November 22nd. That game will include a face-off between the Toledo Walleye and the Evansville IceMen hockey teams while wearing Batman and Riddler uniforms inspired by the classic 1960s TV costumes. The IceMen will dress as The Riddler, even though Mr. Freeze would have been a more appropriate choice, and the Walleye will suit up as Batman.
After the game, the jerseys will be auctioned off, and the proceeds will go to a benefit supporting the Muscular Dystrophy Association, March of Dimes, and the Walleye Wishing Well. There's a limited number of replica Batman jerseys that will be available on November 3rd at the Walleye’s store.
