B.J. Novack may be leaving 'The Office'

I'm not sure if this news is solid or not but it is being reported by EW. It turns out that Novack will be taking a leave of absence from the show so he can go film his role in Quentin Tarantino's 'Inglorious Basterds'. But he may not come back to work at Dunder MIffin.

But exactly how much time off he'll be getting is subject to some debate. According to one insider, Novak will be MIA for "several episodes" but will return later this season. Another source, however, says Novak may be done with The Office for good, at least as a performer. "He may write more episodes," whispers my mole, "but as far as playing Ryan, I think he's ready to move on."

I assume that Ryan will end up being laid off due to the recession, or maybe fired. Perhaps he will relapse back into his drug days and get caught. It is obvious that Pam will most likely come back to Scranton to take her old job back, which would ease the transition. I guess we'll have to see what happens. What do you think will go down?
