Steve Carell puts his Beaver where his mouth is

by thedude

So my title is a stretch. Come on, "Steve Carell puts his hand in a Beaver" was taken by /film, what else am I supposed to do?

So here it is; Steve Carell has attached himself to newcomer Kyle Killen's screenplay "The Beaver". The film will be about a guy who walks around with a beaver puppet on his hand and pretends (or rather really believes) that it is a real person with feelings and the whole shebang. What better way for Steve Carell to showcase one of his many degrees of Michael Scott than by playing a weirdo talking to his puppet. At this point the film is still in the "Buzz" stage and will most certainly be fast tracked to ultra mega popularity in no time. Or so my sources say. My sources are me.

In honor of Carell's inanimate Beaver, I would like to take this chance to list some of my favorite not real movie characters that have won our hearts and minds over the years (these of course are in no particular order, we love them all the same. Well most of them anyway. What this will probably turn into is me sitting here trying to think of anything that would remotely fit into the category regardless of love or affection)-

Lars's "Real Girl", Wilson from Cast Away, The Mannaquin from the Mannaquin movies, Seymore from "Little Shop of Horrors", Pam Anderson's boobs from.....

I've lost my train of thought.

If you have any more cool inanimate objects to add to my sad list please rant back. The Dude Abides.
