'City of Ember' Teaser Poster!
Venkman Here - This film is being produced by Mr. Tom Hanks under his Play Tone banner. Directing this film is a guy by the name of Gil Kenan whose directorial debut came from the great animated film 'Monster House' which is one of my favorite animated movies. I think Gil did a great job and I think he will create another great film with 'City of Ember'
The Movie is based on a book by Jeanne Duprau and is being scripted by Caroline Thompson who also wrote 'Edward Scissor Hands' and 'Nightmare Before Christmas'. I really like where this film is headed. Below the Poster is a description of what the movie will be about.

It is always night in the city of Ember. But there is no moon, no stars. The only light during the regular twelve hours of "day" comes from floodlamps that cast a yellowish glow over the streets of the city. Twelve-year-old Doon Harrow and Lina Mayfleet seem to be the only people who are worried. They have just been assigned their life jobs--Lina as a messenger, which leads her to knowledge of some unsettling secrets, and Doon as a Pipeworker, repairing the plumbing in the tunnels under the city where a river roars through the darkness.
