Bale signed up for 3 Terminator movies!
Venkman here - Apparently FOX plans on doing another 3 Terminator films, thats if people go and see the upcoming 'Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins' movie. It was my impression that Christian Bale's John Connor part was minimal. Apparently not.
According to producer Derek Anderson, "He read the script and he loved it, so he's signed on for all three."
Bale definitely brings a lot of credit to this film, credit that McG lacks. If the script is good though and the story is strong the movie could be good. Just so you know I am on and off about this movie. I want it to be really good but it is hard for me to believe it will with McG behind the wheel. But we'll see, if he proves me wrong I will give him credit. It is currently in production, and the studio is being very careful not to let any part of the plot or story leak out. apparently the actors involved are only getting script pages for the scenes they're actually in.
