1 May 8 Vaughn no longer Directing 'Thor'
When The Hollywood Reporter ran an article about Marvel's new movie line up it said this:
"Matthew Vaughn no longer is attached to direct the project because his holding deal expired December."
So I guess that says it all. Marvel has had an overhaul within their studio recently. Allot of people are being moved around right now and there is going to be more and different people sharing ideas and opinions than there were before. Hopefully they stay creative and strong after all is said and done. As for Matthew Vaughn I'm sure some one will do a better job and the powers at be saw that.
As of right now HR says that the script for 'Thor' is being "Polished". But do not fret fellow geeks 'THOR' is coming!

It's going to take a great director to make this movie. I hope they cast an unknown actor as Thor. Better yet CGI the film al-la Beowulf. Marvel could even pull talent from there animation studio.
