Jay and Seth Vs. The Apocalypse Movie!

Venkman here with some fun news! Mandate Pictures has picked up the rights and is making a movie called 'Jay and Seth Vs. The Apocalypse'. The movie will star Seth Rogan and Jay Baruchel. Variety reports:

Film is based on a comedy short from "Superbad" scribes Rogen and Evan Goldberg and on a story by Goldberg and Jason Stone. Rogen and Goldberg will write and produce the feature.

Several production companies had been vying for the rights to the comedy, which revolves around two guys dealing with the apocalypse. Last summer, the project caused a buzz among the blogosphere when a trailer for the short appeared on YouTube.

Its a really fun idea. Seth is really filling up his plate with projects! I guess he's trying to catch up with Leonardo DiCaprio. If you missed the trailer then go right ahead and watch it below!
