1 Jun 18 New Pics from 'Amelia' Earhart Movie!
Venkman Here - We haven't seen allot on this movie yet but a few new pictures hit the web today. I have always been fascinated with the story of Amelia Earhart mostly around the mystery of her disappearance. I don't think the movie is going to dive to much into that, I think it will be more of the life Amelia lived before her disappearance. Either way I am interested in seeing the film. Its got a great cast and a great character so I'm all for it! Hilary Swank really looks the part and we know she can act so expect another great performance. Check out the Photos below.

Okay, okay, so Hollywood once again is going to cook Amelia Earhart's affair with Vidal on the screen. And that's it? I have spent the last six years writing a time travel murder mystery with Amelia in it and she wasn't easy to cast. Very mundane gal and not the best pilot of that era. So my book is now on the desk of a major agency. Why? Because I didn't write a book about AE, it's about a funny male protagonist; his first encounter is with Amelia's close friend Florence "Pancho" Barnes; she's a hell-of-a-lot more interesting than AE. The book had to be funny to get away with such a rendering of an old, over-played theme as the 1920s and 30s aviation. Count them: at least six movies about AE in the last 50 years. You can't make a serious movie out of a host with no funny bone. You can but don't expect the public to like it. And who the hell is Vidal anyway. Amelia loved her independence a thousand times more than she did men. And she knew plenty of men. Look at Putnam; she used him like a highball beverage boiler would a bar towel.
