What Superhero does Jason Statham want to play?

Venkman here and believe it or not Jason Statham wants to be Daredevil! Whoa! I didn't see that one coming! He recently sat down with LA Times for and Interview and this is what was said:

Could a British actor wear the red horns of the Man Without Fear? Jason Statham says, "Absolutely, just give me the chance, I would love to be Daredevil."

Sitting with Statham and (Frank) Miller, it was easy to get excited about the idea of another "Daredevil" movie, one that was not a remake as much as it was a new installment. Hey Miller is the man who wrote the "Born Again" story arc in "Daredevil" -- there's plenty he could do with the character in a new movie. Statham said he is eager to work with Miller at some point and that he adores the Daredevil character. I made the mistake of asking Statham if might not make a better Bullseye than Matt Murdock and I thought he might hit me with his pint glass. "Forget Bullseye, I want to be Daredevil!" Miller nodded. "I think he should be Daredevil too."

So ther ya have it folks! Jason Statham really wants to play Daredevil. And Miller wants Jason to play him as well. I think he would be much better than Ben Affleck for sure. Do you think anything like this will ever happen? I could do another Daredevil movie, as long as it is 100 times better than the first movie, which stunk worse than an babies poopy diaper. With the way directors are reimagining superheros these days for film, a new daredevil film could actually be decent.
