Has the Identity of the Zodiac Killer been Uncovered?

Venkman here - I know this is not entertainment movie news but I if you want to connect it to a movie, we can link it to David Finchers amazing Zodiac movie. This was pointed out to me on Twitter and I was just floored. I have always had a fascination with this case. Now it look like they have found the identity of the killer! This is crazy and it looks like all the evidence is there! Unless this guy is totally making it up like the Bigfoot guys. But I think this may turn out to be legit. So this news comes from cbs13.com:

Thursday, the FBI confirmed to CBS13 they are now running laboratory tests on some items that may link a suspect to the killer.

The evidence was given to the FBI by a Pollock Pines man who also claims he recently found the disguise worn by the Zodiac Killer during one of his attacks. 

"The identity of the Zodiac Killer is Jack Tarrance. He's my stepfather," says Dennis Kaufman.

Kaufman claims to have had a conversation with Jack Tarrance, during which Jack alludes to being the Zodiac Killer.

The mask Kaufman claims belongs to his stepfather also bears the mark of the Zodiac Killer on the front.



The mask has eye holes cut out, similar to the hood the killer wore during his infamous Lake Berryessa attack.



Rolls of undeveloped film belonging to Tarrance. Kaufman says that he developed a roll and found gruesome images, which he turned over to investigators. "Appeared to be people who were murdered," explains Dennis. 



Kaufman says he compared the Zodiac Killer's handwriting (top lines) and Jack Tarrance's (bottom lines) and says they appear to be similar.



Kaufman holds up a knife belonging tho his stepfather, Tarrance.



The knife was found among Tarrance's things and is covered with a red substance.
