Jude Law comes out of hiding for Sherlock Holmes

Its seems like Jude Law has been MIA for a while. I remember a time when he used to be in every other movie coming out. It looks like he getting back into action! Jude law is currently in negotiations to join Robert Downey Jr. in Guy Ritchies Sherlock Holmes re-invention for Warner Bros. Here is what Variety Reports:

Law is expected to close a deal shortly to play Watson, the super-sleuth's sidekick.

Joel Silver, Lionel Wigram, Susan Downey and Dan Lin are producing. Production begins early next month in London.

The film will incorporate the classic tales written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, as well as the comic book "Sherlock Holmes." Studio is still casting some of the principal roles, including the villain, Blackwood.

I think Jude Law is good fit for the role of Watson! The best choice I have heard so far.
