new DESPICABLE ME Teaser Trailer

A new teaser trailer for Universal Pictures 3D CGI animated film, Despicable Me was released today. This movie looks like it's going to be pretty wacky and crazy, but the trailer still doesn't give us any details on the story or dialogue. So who knows if it is even going to be that good? This is the first time we really get a look a Gru, the main character who is voiced by Steve Carell, and what his personality is like... he never gives up. He reminds me of Wile Coyote trying to catch the Road Runner. All we really know about the movie is the following:

A trio of orphan girls cause the normally deplorable and evil Gru to rethink his plan to steal the moon.

The film is co-directed by Pierre Coffin, Chris Renaud, and Sergio Pablos of the new animation company, Illumination Entertainment. The screenplay was co-written by Ken Daurio and Cinco Paul who wrote Bubble Boy, The Santa Clause 2, Horton Hears a Who!, and College Road Trip. The film will come out on July 9th, 2010.
