Critics Pick their Favorite 2009 Cinematic Achievements

Hey movie geeks! For those of you making your favorite movie lists of the year here are three critic associations that have given the world their picks for best cinematic achievements for 2009.

I'm not surprised by the majority of the picks, and I'm not disappointed at all with any of them. The one surprise I did find was the fact that the New York Film Critics Online chose James Cameron's Avatar for Best Picture. I wasn't expecting that at all, and it has to say something about how good this movie is really going to be.
