Mia Kirshner + 2 Join THE VAMPIRE DIARIES

The ever so delicious Mia Kirshner has joined The CW's The Vampire Diaries in a recurring role as Isobel, the sweet-yet-dangerous wife of substitute history teacher Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis). Catch her debut on January 21st. Kirshner is  a late addition to this hot show and word is re-shoots are happening just to include her in scenes!

Also joining in on the vampire fun are Gina Torres(Firefly,Serenity), who will also debut in the January 21st episode as Bree, who is a witch and Brandon Quinn(Entourage) will guest star in "Bloodlines" playing a mysterious character named Lee, whom the shows executive producer Kevin Williamson describes as

"a vengeful guy with a score to settle with Damon."
