CAPTAIN AMERICA to start Shooting in June!

There hasn’t been a lot of news surrounding The First Avenger: Captain America recently. Marvel movie news has mostly revolved around Iron Man 2 and Thor. The last we heard on Captain America was that the script for the movie was finished. Now news has come that Marvel is going to start shooting the film in June of next year! Joe Johnston, who recently directed The Wolfman, is currently prepping the project for production.

This news comes from a little tidbit from Fangoria where Johnston was talking from the Captain America Art department, that says:

Principal photography was now less than four weeks away. “By the time I got on a plane and arrived, it was three,” recalls Johnston, speaking from the art department of THE FIRST AVENGER: CAPTAIN AMERICA, which he’s readying for a June start."

I’m pretty excited for this one to finally go down. I’m really excited to see what Marvel and the directors are planning for these films! I’m really hoping to be blown away. But the Marvel film I am most excited for isn’t even in production yet… Dr. Strange.

What Marvel movie are you most looking forward to seeing?
