Deadpool movie might be written by Zombieland Writers
As you know a Deadpool spin-off film has been in development over at FOX. Ryan Reynolds who played Wade Wilson in X-Men Origins: Wolverine will be back to bring Deadpool to life. In several interviews Reynolds has talked about how excited he was to get started on the project, and that this time around he was going to make sure the new movie would stay true to the comic book character.
It looks like Fox may have found the guys who will write the script for Deadpool. CHUD reports that one of their sources has revealed that Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are those guys.
There is no official confirmation at this point, but the source says to expect the announcement within the next few days. So I guess we'll see what happens.
From what I saw in Zombieland I think they have what it takes to write some fun dialogue for Deadpool and there is no doubt they know how to tell a fun and adventurous story with humor. I don't think it will be hard for them to write a better movie than Wolverine. I just hope everything that I've heard regarding what is being planned for this film happens, because if it does we will have a great Deadpool movie to look forward to.
So do you think Reese and Wernick will do Deadpool justice?
