Sundance 2010: BLUE VALENTINE with Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams
Blue Valentine seems like it's going to be one of those films up at Sundance that people are going to be looking forward to seeing. It stars Ryan Gosling who wowed the Sundance crowd back in 2004 with his portrayal of a drug addicted teacher in Half Nelson. He’s back this year with a drama about relationships’ rocky roads.
Blue Valentine centers on a contempo married couple, charting their evolution over a span of years by cross-cutting between time periods. The film also stars Michelle Williams as his wife. So the movie has got some great actors involved.
The movie is making its world premire at the festival and is one of the film included in the US Dramatic Competition catagory. Hopfully it doesn't end up extreamly depressing like Revolutionary Road. There's no doubt that the performances in this film are going to be great.
