Transformers Screenwriters Orci and Kurtzman may Not Write Transformers 3

by Joey Paur

I have to say I am a bit surprised that the two screenwriters for the Transformers movie Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman might not come back to write the third film that is so clearly going to happen. At the same time, I don't really care, the script for the first Transformers film was absolutely terrible. It was a fun movie and it was awesome to watch battling robots but the script did suck. But, the did write Star Trek and that looks like it's going to be really good. There is a posting by Roberto Orci in the Don Murphy forums that says the following:

"Time for fresh blood! The main reason we would move on is because we risk getting stale and comfortable. If you only sing one song for too long, you miss the opportunity to sing news songs. We'll see."

I agree. It is time for some freash new blood. The problem is what if they get someone worse. Orci also goes on to talk about Leonard Nimoy possibly providing the voice of The Fallen in 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' as you may or may not know Nimoy provided the voice of Galvatron in the awesome animated 'Transformers: The Movie'. Orci would love for him to provide the voice:

"I actually talked to him about it, given the odd coincidence that he is Michael Bay's cousin through marriage, but fan outcry has also put Welker in the running."

Now I had no idea he is somewhat related to Micheal Bay that's pretty crazy. I am all for Nimoy voicing The Fallen.
