TOY STORY 3 poster... No Toy Gets Left Behind

Below is a new poster for Pixar's upcoming CGI animated Disney Digital 3-D adventure, Toy Story 3. The third installment is directed by Lee Unkrich, who served as editor on the two original films, and co-directed Toy Story 2 with John Lasseter.

The poster is pretty basic, if not insultingly or disappointingly so. But the tag line is, "No Toy Gets Left Behind."

If you've kept up on the footage descriptions that came out of Disney's D23 Expo last weekend, then you know what this is referring to.

The footage set up the main plot of the film, which centers around a now 18 year old Andy, going off to college. After deciding to take just one of his childhood toys with him, Woody, and emptying the rest of his toys into a black bin bag for storage in the attic. All the toys are panicked – especially Woody, who’s worried for his friends. When Andy is distracted by his little sister and leaves the garbage bag on the landing instead of upstairs in the attic, his mother takes it out to the curb – and a frantic Woody has to save his friends from a rapidly approaching bin lorry.

So, this poster is a big tease, but the trailer they showed at D23 will hopefully hit the net soon. You can also get your Toy Story fix this Oct 2nd, when the 3D converted rerelease of Toy Story 1 & 2 hits theaters for two weeks.

Check out the poster and let us know what you think!
