KICK-ASS Movie Ends With a Teaser for the Sequel

I can't wait to see Kick-Ass!!! I say that really fast and excitedly. After seeing the footage of this film at comic-con how can you not be pumped up for this film! if you haven't seen it then you just have to take my word for it, Kick-Ass is going to be a huge hit. It's a movie for geeks, by geeks, about geeks and all of our crazy fantasies. If you've read the comic you know what I'm talking about.

Even though the first film has not been released yet there is already a lot of talk about a sequel, and from the sounds of it, it is definitely going to happen. The plan was to get the second film made within two years so all the characters are basically the same age. Mark Millar, the writer of Kick-Ass says that there is definitely going to be a follow-up, and that it will begin shooting within two years. So confidence levels are high. They already kinda know what they are going to do, Millar says:

There's a basic plot. The series ends on a teaser for the next one, and the movie ends on that teaser, too.

Nice! So technically we will get to see a teaser trailer for the Kick-Ass sequel after the movie is over... very cool. I imagine it will be something like what they did at the end of Iron Man. Maybe it will be more, I guess we'll have to wait and see.  The movie is being distributed by Lionsgate and is set to come out April 13, 2010.

Miller also adds:

We don't want to sound too cocky, but we know this is good. It didn't cost that much money to make. There will definitely be another one.

Boom! Done, Kick-Ass sequel is on it's way! But I'm ready to see the first one now.
